Tina Henle is an award winning freelance photographer with over 35 years of photographic experience. She grew up on the island of St. Croix and acquired her first camera, a pocket size Rollei 35mm at the age of 12 and a twin lens Rolleiflex from her father at age 18. Thus began her love for photography and interest in travel and diverse cultures. In 1983 she received a BA in Art and Anthropology from the University of New Mexico and worked and mentored with her father, renowned photographer Fritz Henle throughout the 1980’s.
Tina is one of the premier wedding and event photographers in the U.S. Virgin Islands and also works and resides in St. Augustine, Florida. Her unobtrusive yet engaging approach allows for a stylistic range from dynamic formals to photojournalistic candids in capturing your wedding or other significant event. Creative portraiture is available in the beauty of numerous outdoor natural light locations, from beaches to tropical gardens to hillside views to historic and contemporary architecture. She is also available for commercial and brochure needs. Please contact her to enquire about your booking or for a personal viewing of her work.
Tina travels worldwide to continually add to her portfolio of creative fine art photography. She exhibits at the Henle Studio Fine Art Gallery, originally the Maria Henle Studio, in Christiansted, St. Croix and at the Butterfield Garage Art Gallery in St. Augustine, Florida and online at HenleGallery.com.
"I approach the moment as a dance of many variables, being open to the flow of what is happening and being constantly attuned to the natural light and setting. My intention is to see in fresh and new ways.”
